    Easy Farmer Cheese Dip

    Easy Farmer Cheese Dip

    Use Farmer Cheese in place of cream cheese in any recipe. It is a perfect substitute for cream cheese with one big advantage: It has way fewer calories and fat, and lots more nutritive value, with lots of live cultures for supporting digestive health.

    This recipe has become a favorite in our house, for those who eat dairy foods. It will store for a week or longer in the fridge. Use it to dip fresh veggies and chips, or spread on a sourdough chapati or tortilla for a filling snack.

     

    Recipe

    First make your whey and naturally cultured Farmer Cheese.

    Put one cup of Farmer Cheese into a bowl.

    Add 1 teaspoon of Penzey’s brand Green Goddess spice blend. Stir well, and serve with any of the dipping foods mentioned above.

    Add 1 to 2 drops rosemary or basil essential oil

    Add 1 teaspoon unrefined sea salt or other natural salt.

    Options: You may like to replace the Green Goddess blend with another spice blend, such as Balti, Sweet Curry, or Creamy Peppercorn blends. The possibilities are endless!

    Sourdough Pancakes

    Remember that heavy feeling you can get in your tummy from eating pancakes?  Typical pancake recipes are not the most health supporting foods you can eat.

    By adding the sourdough culture,  pancakes become much easier to digest, and do not leave a heavy feeling–try it out, and share a comment on your results!

     

    Simple Sourdough Pancakes

    Use your favorite whole grain pancake mix.

    Replace 2 tablespoons of liquid (milk or water) with 2 Tablespoons of sourdough culture.  If you want it to taste more sour, add more sourdough culture; for less sour taste, add less culture.

    For more healthful cultures, digestibility, and nutritional value, mix the pancake mix together (omitting eggs) and allow it to set overnight on the counter.  In the morning, add the eggs just before cooking.

    Cook your pancakes as usual, on a hot griddle.

     

    Super Scratch Pancakes

    • 2 cups whole grain flour
    • 3 Tablespoons sourdough culture
    • 1/2 teaspoon aluminum free baking powder
    • 1 beaten egg or 1 “vegan egg”
    • 1-1/2 cups water (or more if you want thinner pancakes)

    Mix all ingredients together and cook on a hot griddle.

    Serve with real Maple Syrup or with fruit preserves.   As above, if you want to add more probiotic cultures, greater nutritive value, or more digestibility, mix the batter the night before (omitting egg), and allow it to set over night on the counter.

    In the morning, add egg and cook as usual.  You may leave the baking powder out if you use this method, as the sourdough will raise by itself.

     

     

    Radiant Summer Dressing

    radiant summer dressingSauces and dressings are the key to making summer salads taste great!  And by  making your own dressings at home, you will be eating foods that are live and fresh–and contain much more nutrition, flavor,  and life force than packaged foods.

    Place in Vita-mix or blender:

    • 1/4 pineapple, peeled and cored, and cut into chunks
    • 1/4 cup Italian parsley
    • 3 sprigs spearmint
    • 1/2 banana pepper
    • 1/2 t. powdered ginger (or 1″ slice fresh ginger root)
    • 6 T. olive oil
    • 1/2 t. natural salt
    • Just enough water to allow for proper blending

    Blend ingredients on high until there are no lumps.  Serve this light and lively dressing over salads, rice dishes, and cooked vegetables.  For extra zing, try adding a few drops of lemon or lime essential oils.

    Serve within several hours, store in refrigerator if storage is necessary.  Serves 2.

    Tips for Using Vibrational Remedies

    Vibrational remedies include all kinds of homeopathics.  Flower essences, star remedies, gem elixirs, and Quantum field remedies are different forms of  vibrational remedies.  They differ from essential oils, as they contain little or no actual plant material.  They are purely vibrational energy signatures of the plants or forms from which they are made.

    Flower Essences

    Made from flowers, water, and sunlight, flower essences are similar to homeopathic remedies. They are purely vibrational remedies, acting on the human energy field without producing a chemical action on the body.

    They are most effective for mental, emotional, and spiritual issues.  They can provide an energetic support for  life transitions and transformational processes, and any physical conditions with an unknown cause.

    Gem and Environmental Elixirs

    Gem elixirs are similar to flower essences, made with gemstones in place of flowers.  Our elixirs are made in co-creation with the nature spirits, following guidance that may be unique for each gemstone as to timing, placement, and other factors.

    Environmental essences are often made on journeys into sacred sites, when permission is given.  Through ceremony, the energies of a sacred site are conducted into water to create healing energy patterns.

    Usage

    When using vibrational remedies for  physical conditions, they can provide an effective compliment to other forms of treatment.

    They balance patterns in the human energy field that can cause dis-ease or inhibit the healing process. They are effective in revealing the emotional and spiritual aspects that accompany any physical malady, and supporting a positive change.

    They are also a beautiful tool for helping to bring  intentions into the physical form. Vibrational remedies can help us through changes and growth periods.

    They can help with the integration of higher frequencies when raising consciousness, meditating, or building the “light body” awareness. They are useful for any type of energy  or ascension work, individual or planetary.

    Vibrational remedies can be used safely with children, infants, sensitive individuals, pets and animals.  They can also help transform energies in buildings and on lands, often with extraordinary results.

    How to Take Flower Essences, Gem Elixirs, and Other Vibrational Remedies

    Dosage level remedies should be taken at least three times daily for the best results.

    Alternatively, one can put 10 drops of the remedy into a water bottle and sip on it intermittently.  This may be best for those who are likely to forget to take it.

    Many people find it more convenient to use the water bottle method by drinking water throughout the day.  It is best to shake the bottle just a little before taking a dose when this method is used.

    Dosage and Potency

    Take 3 to 7 drops under the tongue three times daily as a normal dosage for children and adults.

    This dosage is very flexible.  It is the frequency of taking the remedy rather than the quantity that is most important.  3 to 7 drops under the tongue is an effective dosage for most people of all ages and sizes.

    Some people feel that a little more works better,  in which case a dropper full per dose would also be effective.  Using more than a dropper full is unnecessary and wasteful.

    Making Dosage Level Remedies from Stock

    Our remedies are sold as dosage remedies, for use direct from the bottle.

    They are also sold as stock level remedies. This is the practitioner’s level remedy.  Stock level remedies are then diluted to create a dosage level remedy.  For more details on diluting stock level remedies, see this link.

    Preserving Vibrational Remedies

    Many vibrational remedies are preserved by adding up to 30%  brandy or vodka to the pure water base.  This works well for those who transmute alcohol readily.  We used this method for years, seeking out the very highest frequency forms of alcohol (such as SKYY vodka, which is quartz filtered).

    At a certain point, we had the desire to find another form of preservation that does not include alcohol for our herbal remedies.

    Vegetable glycerine is very popular in commercial remedies, often called “glycerites”.  We find these to be completely unsatisfactory, as the glycerine dehydrates the mucus membranes of the throat and stomach.  Some sensitive people will be able to feel this, and it is not pleasant.

    Vinegar is another option.  It will not keep for as many years as the alcohol based remedies can, but is very suitable for dosage level remedies that will be used within shorter time periods.

    We now use sacred salts for nearly all or our vibrational remedies.

    Summer Veggie Medley

    To Make Summer Veggie Medley

    Saute quickly over medium high heat:
    4 T. cold-pressed olive oil

    2 yellow crookneck squashes, diced
    1 zucchini squash, diced
    1 small anaheim or sweet pepper, diced
    A few leaves of fresh basil or Thai basil, chopped

    Serve with a sprinkle of black seed oil, natural salt, and chopped fresh tomatoes.
    This makes a fabulous and fulfilling, quick high frequency meal.

    Serves 2.

    Roast Red Pepper Sauce

    Try This Delicious and Nutritious Recipe

    It is easy to make and will spice up your day!

    To Make Roast Red Pepper Sauce

    Roast 8 small sweet peppers on a hot cast iron pan until black spots appear.  Add to blender or Vita-mix, along with:
    1/2 c. olive oil
    2 t. pear vinegar, balsamic, or fruit vinegar
    1/4 t. natural salt
    1/2 t. prepared organic mustard

    2 drops clove bud essential oil
    Blend on a medium speed till creamy.  Serve warm or room temperature over fresh salad greens.  Add  1 T. maple syrup if a sweeter flavor is desired.

    This sauce is also good on potatoes, vegetables, and rice dishes.

    Serves 3.
