Observations and Anecdotal Information
Traditional uses for ponderosa pine essential oil include a wide range of skin treatments, including antiseptic washes for cuts, wounds, and burns. It will also relieve many rashes and degenerative skin conditions.
It carries vermifuge properties, effective against worms in the digestive system. It is also a great topical oil for massage and spinal compresses, with pain relieving qualities.
It is very high in vitamin C, and can be used internally as a semi-homeopathic remedy for lung or kidney regeneration, or for boosting the immune system. It contains a high concentration of natural sulphur, which helps joint, muscle, increased tendon flexibility, and recovery from injury.
I personally find this oil to have a great effect on the spine. It creates space and initiates a deep level of relaxation in the surrounding muscles. It opens the flow of energy, and creates a lifting and lengthening effect.
