Observations and Anecdotal Information
Growing near the tree line at a high elevation under severe weather conditions, causes these trees to grow as beautiful dwarfs in the Rocky Mountains.
Dwarf mountain juniper essential oil is often used as a bladder stimulant, good for treating infections in the bladder, kidneys, and throughout the urinary system. For this purpose, it should be diluted in water, honey, or cranberry juice. Add 1 to 3 drops of oil into 4 ounces of liquid (or a tablespoon of honey). Take this twice daily, only until the infection subsides.
This is not recommended to be used as a long term treatment. If that is needed, it is best to create a homeopathic blend for long term use.
Dwarf mountain juniper essential oil is a good topical treatment. It is fabulous for opening up stagnation in the skin and tissue under the skin. This makes it a really great choice for breaking up fatty deposits, and regenerating cellulite condition of the skin. It combines very well with lemon, grapefruit, and cypress for this purpose, and this blend can be applied topically on a daily basis.
It is also very effective for treating spider veins and broken capillaries under the skin. It can strengthen blood vessels and stimulate the dissolution of plaque from capillaries. It can be combined with carrot root and lemon, and applied topically every day for this purpose.
Dwarf mountain juniper essential oil is also an exceptional lymphatic stimulant and detoxifier. Is can be applied topically in combination with cypress or pine, lemongrass, and rosalina, for unblocking swollen or painful lymph glands. I have seen it work to relieve severe pain from lymphatic blockage within minutes of applying it! It is helpful to apply a hot damp towel on top of the oil, to help drive the oil into the tissues where it can do its work.
