White fir hydrosol is a lovely aromatic water based extract, containing residual essential oils.
It makes a good basic spray for lung ailments, asthma, COPD, and smoker’s cough. One can add a small amount of essential oils such as black spruce, balsam copaiba, or eucalyptus radiata to enhance the lung regenerating properties.
White fir hydrosol has a woodsy conifer aroma that is much softer than the essential oil. As true for most hydrosols, spraying this hydrosol into the air is less intense than diffusing an essential oil. For those with sensitivity to the stronger aromas of essential oils, it is a welcome and refreshing change.
White fir hydrosol also makes a wonderful energy clearing room spray. It can be used as is or with essential oils added, particularly forest trees such as pines, junipers, cedars, and hemlock.
