Observations and Anecdotal Information
Marjoram essential oil is also called sweet marjoram. It can be used internally (with proper dilution) and externally. It is a powerful antiseptic, with both antiviral and antibacterial properties.
It opens and clears breathing passages when inhaled, calming coughs and acting as a decongestant.
Marjoram essential oil works to relieve painful joints and muscles, and arthritis, making it a great massage oil and bath oil.
It has been used as a treatment for ringworm, boils, shingles, and other skin infections.
When applied as a compress to the chest, marjoram can relieve cardiovascular symptoms such as heart palpitations and angina. It will also reduce high blood pressure.

Generally recognized as safe in normal dosage.
Keep all essential oils away from eyes.
