Garden Sage essential oil has been recently studied for its effects on those with dementia. It has been shown to increase cognizance, and support the memory. It’s anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties may protect against further progression of dementia. It can be taken internally to help these conditions, as a homeopathic remedy at proper dilution. It has been shown effective for certain cases of indigestion when taken orally as well.
It is helpful for balancing hormones and soothing menopause or intense menstrual period symptoms. It can be used as a compress on the abdomen or spine for this purpose.
Garden Sage essential oil is helpful for blood sugar levels and metabolic disorders, as it increases blood sugar and decreases cholesterol levels in the blood. It stimulates the gall bladder, clears mucus from the liver, and increases cellular resorption in the small intestine.
It is an immune system booster and modulator. It can help reduce the effects of both bacterial and viral attacks.
