Lemongrass essential oil is a powerful oil for healing connective tissue injuries–injured tendons, ligaments, etc. It stimulates the repair of these tissues on the cellular level, while relieving pain and inflammation.

It is also a great blood and lymph purifier.  It stimulates liver detoxification.

When used as a massage oil, it relieves pain and muscle fatigue, making it a great choice for tired athletes and others who exert a lot of energy regularly. Lemongrass will open the blood flow, restore flexibility, and relax muscles.

Cautions

This oil is generally regarded as safe at normal doses.

Avoid use with infants, small children, pets, pregnant and lactating mothers.

Keep all essential oils away from eyes.
