More About Our Rosewood Essential Oil Melange
Size: 5 ml amber glass vial
Distillation: Blended from pure steam distilled essential oils and their isolates. Contains no synthetics, and no genuine rosewood oil.
Botanical name: Various species including sweet birch and peppermint; considered proprietary
Note: This melange (meaning blend) is a combination of natural pure essential oils and isolates. Isolates are hand made by a master perfumer, through distilling the oils at very specific temperatures, to isolate a single aromatic quality of the essential oil. This process, called fractional distillation, requires mastery to complete successfully. See a youtube video on fractional distillation here. Our melanges are created by a master perfumer in France. This melange is carefully blended to create the aroma of rosewood, distilled from wild trees in Brazil, which are increasingly endangered, and no longer legal to import into the USA.
Uses for Rosewood Essential Oil Melange
External–application to points, meridians, and energy centers
Adding a natural, high quality melange to essential oil blends can be compared to adding a little honey to your herbal tonics–to make the medicine taste good. They will not alter or remove the healing properties of real essential oils, but will bring a complimentary aroma into the blend. They are perfect for blends designed for young children, sensitive individuals, or people who have strong reactions to aromas.
Rosewood essential oil has a beautiful aroma that can be used to improve medicinal blends, and uplift perfume blends.
