Homeopathic uses of muhuhu essential oil include reducing muscle pain and swelling, as well as skin applications for fugal and bacterial infection.
It makes a great massage oil, and can be a good substitute for Indian or Australian sandalwood, with an aroma somewhere between sandalwood and cedarwood. Inhaling this oil lowers blood pressure and relieves stress and tension.
It makes a wonderful oil for diffusion. It is effective in relieving chronic coughs, congestion, bronchitis, and sinusitis. It can be diffused in homes and workplaces to neutralize the effects of mold, radon, and negative energies in the environment.
