Note: Also known as laceflower. Although it has been used for generations in Morocco and the Middle East, khella essential oil has only become available in the world market recently. It is a relative of the carrot.

Observations and Anecdotal Information
Used primarily for preventing asthma, khella essential oil opens breathing passages, removes congestion, and relieves smooth muscle spasm associated with asthma. It can be inhaled or applied as a compress to the chest for this purpose.
It is also an herbal remedy for gallstones and kidney stones, and can help the body pass stones with less pain. For this purpose, it can be taken internally in a homeopathic dosage, and/or applied as a compress to the area of the gall bladder.
It can balance an irregular heartbeat; and relieve angina and high blood pressure. Again, it can be applied to the chest and covered with a hot, damp towel.
Cautions
Avoid use with pregnant or lactating women.
Avoid use with infants and small children.
Avoid use with drug thinning drugs, khella essential oil has blood thinning properties.
Keep all essential oils away from eyes.
Store in a safe place, out of the reach of children.
