Observations and Anecdotal Information
Katafray essential oil is an oil that can be applied topically to reduce acne, psoriasis, rashes, dermatitis, inflammation, and eczema. It should be diluted for topical use, and sensitive individuals should test it before use by doing a patch test. It is known to hydrate dry skin and help maintain hydration in all kinds of weather.
It is great for supporting lymph drainage, and can be applied topically during lymph drainage massage for a very beneficial effect. Apply as a compress, for arthritis pain or rheumatism. Apply twice weekly until the pain is gone.
It is also a disinfectant, and improves breathing when passages are congested. It is opening and expanding to lungs and bronchial tubes.
Katafray essential oils makes a fine massage oil with its pain relieving properties. It can relieve the pain of lumbago and sciatica. It is also helpful for insomnia, and can be inhaled or diffused, or applied to the solar plexus center for that purpose.
