It is a stimulant for circulation and lymphatic fluid. It also stimulates the secretion of hormones, especially estrogen and progesterone. It stimulates the production of enzymes, bile, and digestive juices. It stimulates certain neurons in the brain, peristalsis, and heartbeat and respiration.
