More About Our Ruh Kewda Dilution

Production Method:  Traditional steam distillation, of hand harvested wild  kewda flowers, diluted after distillation to 20% with pure filtered coconut oil.

Botanical name:  Pandanus odorantissima

Uses

Inhalation, diffusion, natural perfume blending, topical application, application to energy centers and meridian points.

A small amount of attar or ruh can go a very long way.  This dilution should be further diluted with a carrier oil for use.

Observations and Anecdotal Information

In northern India, Kewda is known as the King of Flowers (not the Queen).  It is very challenging to harvest and distill this ruh.   The flowers are gathered from the wild trees, and carried in large baskets on the head, to the distillery.  Then they are steam distilled slowly for many hours.

This is another rare offering for those who are working with pure essential oils to create natural perfumes, fit for royalty.
