Gulchin Mukhallat Attar RARE Aromatic

$67.97

This rare aromatic is Mukhallat attar, a traditionally distilled blend of temple flowers from India.  This particular version includes frangipani flowers, adding a very sweet and distinctly recognizable floral note.

Rush and attars, are pure, steam distilled essential oils that are traditionally distilled in copper degs.

Attars

Attars are distilled into a sandalwood oil (or sometimes vetiver) receiver, and can take many days to complete the process.

Ruhs

Ruhs are simply distilled on their own.  They contain only the essential oil of the single species, or group of species, that are being distilled.

Most of these aromatic formulas have been distilled in the same way, using time honored recipes, for hundreds of years or longer.  This traditional form of distillation has been in effect for literally thousands of years.

The prices of these rare natural substances reflect the difficulty and time invested in producing them.  This kind of loving attention produces a substance that is sacred, and beyond any synthetic perfume made in a laboratory.  One must experience it to understand.
