Patchouli Essential Oil (Pogostemon cablin)

This is an oil that I am super excited to be offering for the first time! Most of us have experience with non-aged patchouli, and even the highest grade of artisan distilled fresh patchouli is very strong and has to be extremely diluted for any kind of blending. Many people even think that patchouli gives them a headache, and this is usually a signal that they are still not diluting enough. A usable dilution of high quality patchouli is about 1 drop of essential oil in a 1 ounce bottle for those of us who are sensitive.
This oil is very different from the others for one simple reason: It has been aged over 5 years. Patchouli mellows more beautifully the longer it is aged. By aging this oil before offering it to the market, this distiller is offering a gift that is normally reserved for the friends and family of the farmer/distiller, and not usually available at any price on the market. If you have not used patchouli in the past, I would encourage a trial of this rare and special oil.
Patchouli is a powerful endocrine system stimulant. It is balancing for those experiencing hormonal symptoms; PMS, hot flashes, etc. It is a detoxifier, cleansing of chronic toxic accumulation for those who are regenerating arthritis, diabetes, cancer, and any chronic degenerative health conditions.
