Melissa Essential Oil

Distillation:  Steam Distilled

Botanical Name:  Melissa officianalis

Note:  Certified Organic Leaves

Also known as lemon balm,  this plant yields very minute quantities of oil.  Normally it is diluted with other lemon scented oils and sold on the market as “true melissa oil”.  Another oil with mild aromatic characteristics, it is a powerful anti-viral and blends well with ravensare or foraha for eliminating viral skin outbreaks such as herpes and chicken pox.  It is also an anticonvusive, helping to relieve siezures, headaches, and migraines in some people.
It is a pain reliever, and a great cardiovascular strengthener, slowing and stabilizing the heart and lowering blood pressure when applied to the chest or spine.  It regenerates the liver, and helps resolve gall bladder issues, as it has an affinity for these organs.  It can be taken internally, one drop in a cup of warm water, to relieve gall bladder attacks, or over time to heal and regenerate these organs.
True melissa oil is very rare, and it has been many years since one of the growers we trust has offered it.  This crop is particularly vibrant, and I would encourage everyone ordering to purchase enough for a few years, as I do not know when it will be offered again.
