Lawang oil has been used in traditional indigenous medicine as a remedy for arthritis and rheumatism. It is mild enough to be used undiluted on the skin surface for most people. It is a great massage oil for sports injuries, and helps to move lactic acid build-up out of tired muscles. It is also useful for applying directly to insect bites or stings, and will relieve both pain and itching.
Lawang has the following properties:
Lawang is a deep penetrating oil good for massage and other oil treatments. It is useful for headaches, joint pain, muscle pain, and nerve pain, and is a general pain reliever.
