Note: Traditionally carrot is distilled from the seed. This oil is extracted from the root of the plant, giving it a deep orange color.
Carrot flushes congestion from the liver, regenerates adrenal and liver cells. It is helpful in reversing the effects of gall and liver stones, dissolving them, and preventing their formation. It is helpful in reducing cholesterol levels and relieving high blood pressure.
Carrot is also a superior skin regenerant, helpful for scars, abscesses, psoriasis, rashes, and used to treat tumors and carcinomas. It is one of the best ingredients for reversing the effects of aging on the skin, carrying a very high level of antioxidants.
Taken internally, carrot can promote healthy vision and eyes. Its aroma is very soft, and because it is pre-blended with jojoba by the distillers, this extract is not suitable for diffusion in a nebulizer. It makes a fine addition to cremes, body oils, and all skin rejuvenating preparations.
